EXO D.O. will be discharged from military service in accordance with COVID-19 regulations shortly and he is now even out of the military base not to return back!
SM Entertainment made a statement regarding D.O.’s military expiration date on December 28th. According to the statement, D.O. is currently using his last leave permit. Although he will not return to the military base anymore, his status will remain as a soldier a bit more and it is not possible for him to return to his musical life immediately. The final discharge date of EXO D.O. will occur approximately one month later, on January 25, 2021.
EXO D.O. began her military service on July 1 last year. During his military service, D.O. Besides his military service, he participated in the Army musical “Return: The Promise of the Day”. He will be the second member after Xiumin, who is EXO’s oldest member, to complete his military duties.
Before he went to the military, he appeared in various TV series and films. After being discharged from the military, it is said that he will begin to prepare for the filming of a movie for-now called “The Moon” (the name has not been clarified yet) as his first project.
