For the second time in a row, BTS was named the hottest summer superstar by MTV UK’s survey!
On August 29, MTV UK announced via its official website that BTS has won the Hottest Summer Superstars 2020 this year.
While BTS came first with 33,203,280 votes, BLACKPINK ranked 2nd with 3,248,886 votes. Huge gap!
One Direction became the hottest super star from 2013 to 2015, Fifth Harmony in 2016, Lady Gaga in 2017, Selena Gomez in 2018 and BTS was selected in 2019. It means that BTS is the second artist to win multiple times in the survey after One Direction.
