BLACKPINNK x Selena Gomez collaboration song “Ice Cream” is released.
The song’s lyrics are about 95% in English as only Lisa sings partly in Korean in the rap part. We can say that the parts of Selena Gomez and the rap part of Lisa stands out in overall. Jisoo has fewer lines than other members, which might be reasonable as her English is limited. Even so, Jisoo’s pronuciation is so cute and sounds so sweet.
The clip is colorful, the girls are beautiful again, and Selena Gomez is pretty impressive. The fantastic visuals are well worth the huge effort spared for the costumes, make-uo and hair-styling.
Although the shots of Selena Gomez and BLACKPINK were shot on different continents due to COVID-19, the integrity of the clip has not been spoiled.
