Big Hit, or HYBE with its new name, has started to move to its new buildings at Yongsan Trade Center in Seoul’s Yongsan-gu location as of March 22, 2021 (today).

According to Newsen’s report, Big Hit’s team of more than 1000 employees started to move to this 60 thousand square meter area consisting of 7 floors under the ground and 19 floors above the ground. There are also large music and movie studios in the building.

In the office designs, it is aimed to maximize the interaction and relations between employees. I don’t know exactly, but it came from the photos as if they were exaggerating it a bit. What it is, it looks like filing cabinets and tables are mixed up, and employees are almost to be filed!

However, it may not be as it seems, because the concept is explained as follows: Think of it as a mobile office, anyone will gather where they want, as they want, so no one will have a fixed place (like cubicacle, for example). The venue will also be able to expand and contract according to the number of people coming together.

If we have friends who study architecture, there is a story here … Check it out if you want.

Meanwhile, 200 birch trees were planted in the garden of the building. Employees would hang around them and refresh the minds… It is possible to see the birch tree frequently in Korean TV series. Both the spring and autumn versions are here:

Bang Si-Hyuk is playing big again and always looking for innovation.

Imagine having BTS members wandering around this building.
