aespa had its first red carpet experience while participating in the 2020 KBS Song Festival (aespa’s KBS performance). The fledgling new girl group aespa didn’t look like a rookie group at all on the red carpet. On December 18th, aespa members Winter, Giselle, Karina and Ningning set foot on the red carpet with confident steps, however, it was quite apparent that their outfits were incompatible with each other as well as looking not fitted to their size. Netizens attached the blame to the stylists.
aespa is the SM Entertainment’s new favorite girl K-Pop idol group was loved this year for their singing skills, outstanding visuals and harmony in their dance. However, with above images on the red carpet of the KBS 2020 Music Festival, they did not receive a positive response. As soon as the music festival started, thousands of messages came from netizens about the costumes of the aespa members:
