K-Drama is the abbreviation for Korean Drama and simply means Korean Drama or Korean Television Series. K-dramas usually consist of 16 episodes. The duration of the episodes varies between 60 and 90 minutes. Hence they are 15-20 minutes longer than American TV shows on average. Typically, romantic / comedy Korean dramas feature a main boy, a main girl, and a supporting actor / actress that forms the love triangle.
