December 4, 2020 was Jin‘s 28th birthday. Special for his birthday, Jin met with fans from Naver V Live broadcast. Just before going live, on the phone, BTS spoke with his bandmate V (Taehyung) . During the phone call, phrases like “You are really the best” , “moving story” and “I really have to share this with my fans. Thank you” took place and ARMY got deeply curious.
After ending the phone call, Jin started to tell the story he mentioned during the conversation:
“Taehyung is so unique. Last night we worked until late, so I was really tired and had to sleep. But just in case, I stayed awake until 1 am thinking that my loved ones might send me birthday wishes.
I’ve seen my friends get tons of messages on their birthdays. So I started to wait too. But only six messages came; one from my mother, one my brother, two from BTS members, including J-Hope, a childhood friend, and an employee from our company. That’s it. I waited until 1 am but no more messages came. That really upset me. It made me think ‘I must not have lived my life properly’.
“But when I woke up this morning” continues Jin, “I received about 10 messages. So I changed my mind and thought,” Despite everything, I might have lived my life properly”.
Just before he went to sleep at 1am, he said to the other BTS members ‘Wow, I waited until 1 am but nobody texted me’ . On top of that, Taehyung (V) contacted his friends and told them “Today is Jin’s birthday so I would appreciate it if you could send her a short birthday celebration video message”.
Jin announced that thanks to V he received birthday wishes from many of V’s famous friends, including actor Park Seo Joon .
“In any case, many of V’s friends, including Park Seo Joon, sent me video messages; many people celebrating my birthday made me feel safe. V really impressed me and I am grateful to him for organizing it”.
In the previous phone call, V stated that there are many more video messages and that there are many people who love Jin . As it seems, Jin felt very happy.
Finally, Jin sincerely thanked V with both hands crossed.
