TREASURE becomes the first YG Entertainment affiliated idol group to join Weverse group. As you may already know, YG Entertainment and Big Hit Entertainment have announced an important collaboration agreement ( YG Artists Will Now Be On Weverse ) recently. As a result of the collaboration between the two major agencies, groups affiliated to YG Entertainment will participate in Weverse. The first group in this scope was TREASURE. TRESURE members will be able to message their fans just like BTS members!
TREASURE will be the first YG Entertainment group to join Weverse after the partnership signed between YG and Big Hit in January. Through this partnership, YG Entertainment will expand its global reach and influence through Weverse platform of Big Hit Entertainment. Big Hit Entertainment will aim to further expand Weverse’s global influence by including YG Entertainment’s content.
In addition, YG Entertainment plans to collaborate with Big Hit Entertainment and YG PLUS for the distribution of the merchandise to continue developing innovative models that can be used to provide new experiences to its fans. YG PLUS will collaborate with Big Hit Entertainment’s physical album and digital music distribution, as well as its commercial sales business.
