Sunday is to rest and leisure; but this not relevant for BTS fans. Never! This Sunday’s unexpected development is the #Curated_by_BTS hashtag for the new album BE. Three audio files and two photographs were shared alongside, featuring V (Taehyung) and his mysterious room in the leading roles.
Let’s look at photos first:
In the first photo, V is sitting in a room, wearing loungewear, staring at us. This is a room of his own. A framed photo of someone surfboarding hangs on the wall. It seems to represent his longing for the days when we travel freely, and go on vacation. Two violins hang on each side of the framed photo. The symmetrical structure stands out in the room; just like in the first promotional photo for BE. In the second picture below, V is gazing tight into our eyes. And he bites his nail without hesitation! Handsome V is not shy today!

In the first recording: “ Hello everyone, welcome to V’s room. I am the curator V. I wanted to show my own vibes just as they are through this room that I arranged almost like an art gallery, with green and white wallpaper and door and objects laid out in symmetry with the velvet sofa anchoring the middle. I hope you can feel “V” in this room, I want to make sure you get enough to eat even if you are busy, and I wish you can feel how happy I want your each and every day to be”.
Second sound recording: “What objects in this room do you think best represent me? It is hard to single out any one thing because each object really reflects the ambiance I feel is me, but if I had to choose one that’s the picture behind me. I think it’s more meaningful because it is a picture I took myself. I was able to express with what I saw through the viewfinder both how I see the world, and myself within that space which is why it’s the one thing in this room that represents me the best”.
In the third voice recording: “How did you feel when you saw this outfit? Did it seem like loungewear? Getting ready to go out? I wanted to show an outfit that is “comfortable yet not very comfortable”, and I’m curious if you saw it in the same way, too?”
V is talking about an outfit that he can be comfortable at home but also let him hit the streets whenever there is a chance. In these days when pandemic related quarantines are coming back, it is a dress that will allow us to be comfortable at home, but if the pandemic disappears, we can throw ourselves into the street without wasting any time. So he implies “let’s be cautious but also be prepared!”
The framed-photo on the wall is shot by V during Bon Voyage Season 3 days at Malta and aired within the Episode 5. In the photo below, V is preparing to take the shot that represents him the most in the room:
The “Room” as a subject was previously mentioned in conversations between BTS members (as seen in the photos below). “Different clothes, hair and rooms? Each of us is in our own rooms and the style of each is our own”.
We also have seen, without understanding of course, the door of each BTS member’s room. It was looking out of context at that time but it makes sense all the way right now:
Violins on the wall of V‘s room are also familiar from somewhere. In the video below, we observe that in one of the 2019 Melon Music Awards (MMA) video recordings, V plays the violin:
During 2019 MMA, it seems that another spoiler was thrown right into our eyes, but we were so unaware. BTS unveiled the sub-units within BE one year ahead!:
If you are a fan of BTS , you have to be prepared for subliminal messages, spoilers and so. How they plan everything so finely and early is truly unbelievable.
If we are going to follow the order of postcards , next will be Jimin ‘s room. In the short video above, Jimin takes pictures with the camera polaroid . Let’s see what we will see.
