Actor Seo Ye Ji has left the cast of the upcoming K-Drama “Island” cast because of allegations about Kim Jung Hyun.
After Seo Ye Ji decided to quit the drama “Island”, the production team started a major change in the script. Because the script writers wanted the drama to be very realistic, they were preparing the script by considering Seo Ye Ji’s character.
Island is a drama about Korea’s beautiful island of Jeju. According to the story, the island is hiding a deep secret. A monster lives on the island that wants to uproot humanity. Seo Ye Ji was to play a character who came to the island for inheritance but confronted the beast. The only person who will help Seo Ye Ji’s character is a hunter who has been chasing the monster for a long time. When she meets the hunter, the webs woven by fate also come to light.
A representative from the drama Island crew explained that there is no clear decision regarding Seo Ye Ji. Filming for the TV series Island was scheduled to begin in June, but there is a possibility that it will be delayed to July or August due to the change.
