After the the tragic accident of Wendy and the power abuse controversy of Irene, Red Velvet seems to have subsided into silence. However, an important news was announced about Red Velvet at SM Entertainment‘s recent press conference titled “Meet the Future – Post Pandemic”.
SM Entertainment‘s CEO Lee Sung Soo talked about Red Velvet‘s comeback plans.
“We anticipate a return for Red Velvet soon. There was a little discussion recently, but we apologized very quickly and sincerely to the person concerned. Red Velvet will come back with a more mature side of them than ever. We hope most of you will embrace the group with interest, understanding and support”.
Red Velvet was last seen as a full group in 2019 with Psycho, which has now taken its place within the list of the all-time Kpop classics. The mini album of Irene and Seulgi featuring the hit track Monster was one of the best works of 2020 in my opinion. It is impossible not to be impatient for his new work, which is said to reveal its mature sides!
