MNet announced their idol survivor program for girl idols called “Girls Planet 999“. The “Girls Planet 999” survivor show program is expected to resemble the I-Land program that led to the creation of ENHYPEN.
At least 16-year-old female contestants from South Korea, China and Japan, and all foreign trainees living in one of the three countries listed, will be eligible to qualify for the “Girls Planet 999” program.
“Girls Planet 999” will be the survival idol show for independent trainees, interns who already have agreements with agencies, and also debut female idols.
The contest trailer starts off with a sentence from ‘Alice in Wonderland’:
“Every adventure needs a first step”
Then a message appears for all potential competitors:
“There is still an unknown world for us. A whole new world beyond borders. The first step is necessary to get there. And with girls who challenge their dreams, this will be the story of their first steps.”
