Stay, the seventh song of BTS ‘s latest album BE , is a bright, energetic track, yet emotional track. Band members Jungkook, Jin and RM wrote this song. Belarusian DJ Arston also contributed to the song. So there are two vocalists, a rapper, and a DJ on the team. Of course, this adds richness to the song.
Jungkook said at the press conference for the BE album for Stay: “ This is the song of the unit composed of me, RM and Jin. Perhaps the first work this unit did. We have succeeded in creating a piece with a unique sound color. A difference that we have not seen before. “Stay” is a fun and emotional piece of song”.
Jungkook explained the meaning of the song in addition to the sonics of the song. He stated that Stay, like other BE pieces, was made largely inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic. Here are Jungkook’s words:
“So what is the meaning of this song? Even though we are physically separated, we always stay together. Somehow we manage to that. That was the message that I wanted to give with this piece, that was the message we were trying to give. It’s a fun song, I hope you like it too.”
