The 2021 Grammy Awards Ceremony took place on March 14, 2021. BTS was nominated for the song “Dynamite” in the “Best Pop Duo / Group Performance” category and became the first Korean artist group to reach this nomination in history. The Best Pop Duo / Group Performance Award went to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s song “Rain on Me”. However, BTS performed an unforgettable Dynamite performance for ARMY.
Last year, BTS accompanied Lil Nas X at the 2020 Grammy Awards Ceremony and featured in the “Old Town Road All-Stars” special performance. BTS attracted the attention of all viewers, whether it be the red carpet or its performance, last year. During her performance work, Ariana Grande even took a photo with BTS members and shared it on Instagram. BTS’s next big goal was to perform their own performances with their own songs at the Grammy Awards and get a Grammy nomination. This year, in 2021, these dreams came true.
