BLACKPINK Rosé Releases her English Solo Album
1

BLACKPINK Rosé released her solo album “R” and released a music video for her debut track “On The Ground”. Rosé’s visuals and vocals are excellent and were greatly appreciated by her fans. One question arose in mind about Rosé’s album: Why is the whole album made up of English lyrics?

Besides the tracks on the album, the pre-debut single “Gone” consisted of English lyrics. It can easily be understood that the reason Rosé preferred English lyrics is because she wanted to appeal to a broader global fan base. Still, Rosé wanted to make a statement on the matter. Rosé states that every song has a language that suits her. Rosé felt that the language that complemented her songs was English. Rosé says the priority is to deliver a highly complete, satisfying song, although fans are worried that they will be upset by not singing in Korean.

We also liked the song “Gone” by Rosé. We think “On The Ground” has a good sound. We gradually began to get to know Rosé’s own rhythm. If you want to listen to On The Ground and Gone:
