The production team of tvN’s popular TV series “ True Beauty ” apologized for the collective crew photo they gave without complying with COVID-19 measures.
True Beauty’s lead actor Cha Eun Woo, shared a group photo of the drama’s production and cast team on February 5, 2021 after the final episode aired on February 4. Under the photo, “You all worked hard: from the True Beauty cast to the team” note dropped. Shortly after the photo was published, at a time when social distancing rules and the requirement to wear a mask were part of the COVID-19 prevention protocol, it was criticized that most people in the photo were not wearing masks and were at close range.
Upon the criticism, the production team of True Beauty issued a message of apology:
We apologize for worrying you about the group photo taken after shooting finished.
During the filming of “True Beauty”, we strictly followed the rules of preventing infection and managed to finish the shootings safely. However, we raised concerns about this photo, where we temporarily removed our masks and had them taken.
We will do our best to create a safe set of sequences where there is not a single moment of not paying attention to the rules. “
